Artistes enthrall audiences at Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Alpen Capital's Global Fusion

Dubai, 24th January, 2010

Bank Sarasin-Alpen (ME) Limited, a subsidiary of Bank Sarasin & Co. Ltd, a leading Swiss private bank, together with its investment banking associate Alpen Capital (ME) Limited successfully hosted its sixth annual GLOBAL FUSION concert on January 22, 2010 at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai. The event was attended by clients from across the GCC and leading personalities from the region.

Global Fusion - Dubai 2010 brought together 10 artistes from across the world with their varied musical styles. Lead by Ustad Shujaat Khan - the sitarist with a sufi twist, the concert also featured musical gurus like Dhaffer Youssef, Tim Ries, Kevin Hays, Chander Sardjoe, Nguyên Lê, Katayoun Goudarzi, Yogesh Samsi, and Manjari Chaturvedi. The UAE artiste, Adel Al Khumais enthralled audiences with his melodious tunes on the Oudh.

Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Alpen Capital started operating in the DIFC in early 2005. The two organizations function in a unique business model wherein the investment banking capabilities of Alpen Capital complement the private banking activities of Bank Sarasin-Alpen. The organizations have expanded their operations to Qatar and Oman in 2008 and to India in 2009.
