Alpen Capital has joined the World Bencmarking Alliance (WBA), which is a collaborative community of over 280 organizations globally working to develop an accountability mechanism for business action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The alliance aims to build a movement to measure and incentivize business impact towards a sustainable future, that works for everyone. Echoing the spirit of SDG17, it believes in the power of cross-sector partnerships and collective action to drive systemic progress. As an ally, Alpen Capital will support in shaping and amplifying WBA’s benchmarks, as well as use them to inform and influence business decisions.
About World Benchmarking Alliance: WBA was launched in 2018 with the vision to change the way that business impact is measured to boost motivation and stimulate action for a sustainable future. WBA identified seven transformations that need to take place to put society and the worldwide economy on a more sustainable path to achieve the SDGs. To turn these transformations into action, WBA develops, in close collaboration with the Alliance, a series of benchmarks assessing 2,000 of the world’s most influential companies, ranking and measuring them on their contributions to the SDGs.
